You have found Hikanarup (or it has found you). As you can see it has a face, but no eyes yet. Soon you will discover what to do to give it life. Do you think this is absurd? You can simply stop here and pass Hikanarup on to someone else.
Have you decided to move forward? Then follow these steps. Please note: you have 24 hours from the moment Hikanarup reaches your hands.
1. Bring into focus a part of yourself that is asking for more clarity, strength, or transformation.
Do not mistake Hikanarup for a genie in a lamp, because it can be much more. Do not think about what you want to gain. Identify within yourself that something you feel is vital in this very moment, that something you feel could shift the tracks of your future:
- a quality to strengthen
- a difficulty to move through
- a knot to understand
- a direction to make clearer
2. Write this intention on a slip of paper, leaving some white space at the bottom, and keep it with care.
3. Draw the left pupil on Hikanarup.
4. Place Hikanarup in a visible spot, where it can remain present in your daily attention. Do not hide it. Look at it every now and then, but not too intensely – because it is a discreet presence that does not welcome too much attention or too many words.
5. When you recognize that something has truly moved in relation to your intention, write it at the bottom of the paper in the space you left blank. Then complete Hikanarup’s second eye.
6. At that point, set Hikanarup free, with care, in a natural place.
